We are partnering with a global operator in the leisure and entertainment sector to appoint a Business Operations Director for a major new project based in Shenzhen.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational efficiency and overseeing core business functions within a complex, customer-facing environment.
The Role
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the business operates effectively across all support functions while enabling strong commercial and operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading core functions including Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and Administration
• Driving operational efficiency, cost control, and performance
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic and commercial objectives
• Establishing governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks
• Building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams
• Supporting pre-opening activities and operational readiness
Requirements
• Proven senior leadership experience across multiple business functions
• Background in hospitality, retail, leisure, or other customer-facing environments
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and complex organisations
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment
• Fluent Mandarin and English (essential)
